Notice regarding a qualifying holding in accordance with the ZPre-1 Act

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange d.d. and the ZTVP-1 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/99), KD Group, d.d., Ljubljana hereby issues the following announcement:

KD Holding, financial company, d.d., Celovška 206, Ljubljana, in accordance with the fourth paragraph of Article 10 of the Takeovers Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 79/06 – ZPre-1) hereby announces that KD Group, a financial company, d.d., Ljubljana, in accordance with Article 77 of ZPre-1, has notified us that on 11 August 2006 it held more than a five per cent stake in the voting rights of KD Holding d.d. (KDHR shares).

From 5 September 2006 until further notice, the company will also publish this notification on its website www.kd-group.si under ‘Notices’ in the ‘Public Announcements’ section.
