Notice regarding the acquisition of a qualifying holding

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange d.d. and the ZTVP-1 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/99), KD d.d., Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following announcement:

KD Group, financial company, d.d. Celovška cesta 206, Ljubljana, in accordance with Article 64 of the Takeovers Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 47/1997), Article 66 of the Securities Market Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/1999) and the Decision on the detailed content and manner of publication of announcements by public companies (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 6/2000, 76/2001, 117/2002), hereby announces that on 27 October 2003 it received a notification from KD Holding d.d., Ljubljana, stating that the latter had become the holder of 9,999 shares in KD Group d.d. (share code SKDR), representing 5.36 per cent of all shares in KD Group d.d. carrying voting rights.
