Notice regarding the acquisition of a qualifying holding

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange d.d. and the Securities Market Act (ZTVP-1) (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/99), KD d.d., Ljubljana, hereby issues the following announcement:

KD Group, financial company, d.d. Celovška 206, Ljubljana, in accordance with Article 66 of the Securities Market Act and Article 64 of the Takeovers Act, hereby announces that on 22 August 2003, we received notification from shareholder Sergej Racman, resident in Ljubljana, that he had become the holder of 21,331 shares in the issuer KD Group d.d. (share code SKDR), representing 11.441 per cent of all shares in KD Group d.d. carrying voting rights; and from shareholder Aleksander Sekavčnik, resident in Ljubljana, that he had become the holder of 10,970 shares in KD Group d.d. (ticker symbol SKDR), representing 5.884% of all shares in KD Group d.d. carrying voting rights.
